The long awaited album “Sophia” by George Mulindwa is finally out and available for downloading from Amazon, ITunes. (Soon to be out on 26 other major online distributors).  BE THE FIRST TO DOWNLOAD.

Master-minded by top renowned international music producers George William Kiberu, Blaise Tongelo and Vicent Othieno, ‘Sophia’ album is a combination of thinly sliced reggae music served with blended vocal melodies and harmonies, seasoned together with a few sprinkles of dancehall.  It’s carefully choreographed with skilful productions, intelligent choice of material and rhythms to ensure that it smoothly takes you on a journey which will leave you in a better mood to yearn for more.

This  album was originally due to be release in May last year but it was postponed following the tragic death of George’s sister Joan Mulindwa who passed away on the 25th of May 2009 – shortly before the date the album was scheduled to be released.

This release comes exactly a few days to the first anniversary of Joan’s passing.  The album also features “Lwaki (Why)” a song that was composed and performed by George Muklindwa and George William Kiberu (together known as G&G) as a special tribute to Joan Mulindwa; who not only was their sister, but business partner and best friend.

Hard copies of Sophia Album are also ready. You will soon be able to order your hard copy from KyeyoWorld.com and GWM Media.com.
Watch out for the launch Gigs soon to be advertised.

Eyewitnesses said the fire started from behind the huts. The main hut was completely destroyed as the surging crowd wailed in disbelief, hampering further the Police efforts to stop the inferno from spreading.

The Police said they could not tell the extent of the damage to the world famous heritage site since they were unable to access it, but it was clear that the huts were reduced to ash. Read the rest of this entry »

Latest Interview with The Ganda Boys

Another lively session in the studio with the Ganda Boys, February 7th, an exclusive for Kyeyo Radio – recorded in the West Country of the UK, Neolithic Britain, near the ancient stone circle at Avebury in Wiltshire County.  And it’s here at Heaven on Earth Music studios among the fields and open spaces, where the first Ganda Boys album, “The War of Love” was created and recorded. During the interview, we just can’t help but see the world through the eyes of these three dedicated musicians, songwriters, singers and recording artists.

Together, they have a dynamic which works on many levels: thought-provoking, highly humorous, inspiring, moving, very lively and honest. The sum of these three unique personalities goes some way in explaining why the Ganda Boys sound is the way it is. Hear what it means to be a “tripod”!
