Tragedy draws him back.
It’s been about 10 years since we last heard his voice. Those that remember the sensational young and vibrant voice of the Reggae singer for the new generations’ band, George Mulindwa, can clearly see his handy work behind the current Lwaki???? About the sudden death of his beloved sister one Joan. N. Mulindwa. “When emotions overwhelm me, I know no other way to express myself than in song” he’s been heard saying. Well thank God you can not contain the emotions, what we have is a wonderful sound with a heartfelt question to an age old puzzle. Gone too soon. Does this put an end to the self imposed exile from music??? We hope the answer is a resounding YEAHHHH.

What has George been up to?????
Although he left the music scene in Uganda about a decade ago, Mulindwa has not completely been out of the industry that is obviously his calling.

He has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to not only mentor but help many of the budding young musicians both in the USA and back in Uganda. He has also been a constant advisor and host to a number of musicians that have come to perform here. He took a more low key approach to the industry and in turn has honed his skill as an entertainer, by composing, producing, studying and writing.
He has written over 40 songs an equivalent of 7 albums (both lyrics and music), he has produced songs for a number of artists and has even performed at a couple of shows on a few occasions. Being more than just a singer, he had to find a live band that usually accompanies his performances. He is backed by an ward winning reggae band (hot like fire)nominated 8 times and winner of three awards, that plays out of Cambridge, MASS, this band is one of the top five reggae bands in the US. Three years ago he opened his own sound lab (studio) at his home in Woburn, Mass, which was a realization of a life long dream. At this studio he can do all the things that a musician would love and it in return provides him with the creative control and independence that any Artist would kill for. A lot of hits have been written and produced in this studio, and everything on his new album has been produced in this studio and one can tell that this is a man working at his own pace a result being, music refined to the every last detail. Many artists in the Boston area and beyond are constantly turning to George and his studio for many of their production needs.
But music is not his only passion, like any true entertainer, he has expanded his knowledge and expertise in entertainment by getting into the movie business. He has written several episodes for the upcoming series (Matilda) about the daily life of immigrants. Matilda is a tale of triumphs and setbacks for a group of young adult immigrant as they adjust to their new home and yet still handle the ties that strongly bind them to the original homeland. This is a brain child of both George and his baby sister Joanne who we tragically lost on the 25th of May 2009, in a pool accident. For a while this series had been his sole focus as he oversaw every detail, from choice of location, casting, production, editing, shooting, and even wardrobe.

As a business man George has also been busy, together with his friend and business partner they founded the G&G productions an umbrella company that contains several businesses including a communication company and better known KyeyoWorld.com (KW), which currently runs KyeyoRadio (KR) out of London.
George is also currently enrolled Full-sail College, a college that is a one of its kind that is solely aimed at training the future directors and producers in the entertainment business.
